Ms. Thomas-Smith is responsible for the development, oversight and implementation of Acuity’s marketing and communications strategy. In this role, she develops creative approaches to support client growth and engagement, including: branding, digital marketing and communications, event and service line promotion, internal communications, and media relations. Collaborating with the Acuity executive team and internal content experts, she supports the sales, human resources, consulting and training teams in implementing a variety of strategic initiatives.

Background

Dawn Thomas-SmithDawn is passionate about designing and delivering messaging, information and tools to support audience needs. She has over 15 years of experience in communications, marketing, design and web development and most recently managed internal and external communications, public relations and online and print marketing at a nonprofit hospital and clinic. Collaborating with leadership, physicians and staff, she served on various campus-wide committees and project teams to grow patient, staff, donor and community engagement. Prior to this role, she served as Webmaster for the same organization, managing the public site, intranet and social media channels, including content development, design, analytics and optimization.
